DeWalt 18v

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 0 2

Li-Ion battery power tools are the future for cordless power tools. These batteries offer so many advantages over older, heavier batteries. Most lithium ion batteries are 70 percent lighter than old nickel cadmium or nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries. But what makes Li-ion batteries so perfect for cordless power tools like drills, saws, and sanders is the fact that they can store more than twice the amount of energy than NiCad or NiMH batteries. And they have a unique chemistry allowing them to be recharged time and time again.

Manufacturers of cordless tools are increasingly adopting Li-ion batteries. And the DeWalt is one of them. This company enjoys a well earned reputation for manufacturing quality power tools and industrial equipment. Their continuously successful power tool making business started in Pennsylvania in 1920s.

Today, DeWalt is a leading manufacturer of industrial quality power tools and offers a wide range of industrial accessories. This company is a global producer of professional- grade electric power tools. DeWalt is a name well-known for the durable and quality electrical power tools. This company makes everything from sawing machines to cordless drills.

The design and shape of DeWalt 18v cordless tools makes then fit into areas where corded tools will not. But no matter how convenient they are, DeWalt cordless power tools need enough power and endurance to go the distance or they eat up the time they are made to save. The 18V battery has both power and endurance. These batteries are powerful and last quite a while.

DeWalt 18v power tools like DC720KA Heavy-Duty Cordless 18-Volt Compact Drill/Driver and D28402K 4-1/2-Inch 115-MM Heavy-Duty Small Angle Grinder Kit can be used for many jobs, large and small, at home and in the building trade. Li-ion batters are a huge deal for electric power tools, they have no battery memory! It's great not having to wait until the battery is completely dry until you can charge it again, especially most tools loose torque as the power drains. I ought to try out this dewalt, my drill just gave out a week ago. Thanks!
