Dealing with Wrinkles the Easy Way
Have you ever heard the expression, 'kill two birds with one stone'? It means putting in half the effort for twice the benefit. If you can minimize how much work you have to do to accomplish more, wouldn't you do it? If you can help prevent and get rid of wrinkles while helping other parts of your body, wouldn't you do it?
There are several ways to help minimize your wrinkles, smooth them out, and prevent them from getting worse. The best way to prevent them is through sun protection. Keep your skin out of the sun. You should get 10 to 20 minutes of sunlight a day to get Vitamin D, but that doesn't mean you need to let it shine on your face where everyone sees wrinkles. Let it shine on your arms or legs instead.
Wear sunglasses, scarves, and/or wide brimmed hats when you're out in the sun. If you're sitting outside, sit in the shade instead of direct sunlight. Wear a day lotion with SPF 15 or higher everyday reapplying as needed. Use a larger strength sunblock when you plan to spend long periods of time outside even if it's cloudy. Sun rays can shine through the clouds. Sunlight causes damage to your skin which in turn causes wrinkles. Staying out of the sun decreases the wrinkles it will cause and reduces the risk for skin cancer.
Drink lots of water. Water will hydrate you from the inside out and will greatly affect the look of your skin. Hydrated skin will be plump showing less wrinkles and fine lines. Drink 8 to 10 eight ounce glasses of water everyday, more as needed. Drink more water will make you feel better, too. It will help your digestion and help in most parts of your body's functions.
Finally, there are anti aging products. Start by just moisturizing your skin with a deep moisturizing cream or lotion. You'll be surprised at how much better your skin will look just after this. After that, if you still haven't gotten the full results you are looking for, you can try wrinkle creams and other anti aging products. Some might not do more than just moisturize your skin, even if they contain special ingredients. Most won't pull double duty, but if you try one and it works, you've got yet another way to help your skin look more beautiful day in and day out.
