The hill station has around 30 exotic viewpoints which offers you the spectacular view of the ultimate fascinating landscapes. Most of these points derive their names from some former British dignitary. You could easily reach these points by roads or by trekking. The highest point in Mahabaleshwar is the Wilson Point. A large bare rock with three observation towers has been set up at different spots from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of sunrise.

Trek to the Lingmala Waterfalls which present a breathtaking sight of cascading water from a steep cliff into thin clear water streaks. It is a favorite picnic place among both tourists and locals. You can also enjoy a boat ride on the placid, crystal-clear waters of Lake Vena. The lush green surroundings enhance the overall experience. The other famous points of the region are Bombay Point, famous for a spectacular sunset view and Elphinston Point, another ideal picnic spot of the town.
