Denon makes some great stuff when it comes to electronics. They are a Japanese company that has been in business for a long time and have become known for making very dependable, high quality electronics for those who want hi-fi but with a mid-fi price associated with it.Outlaw audio is an American based electronics company that markets modern electronic gear strictly over the internet. The keep things simple, build a very high quality product, and sell it for less than a comparable model from a competitor because they do not have all of the overhead associated with retail space.I believe that a great strategic alliance would be with these two companies.I would propose a new business unit consisting of a 50/50 split ownership with a joint design team. The engineers from both companies would join up with each other to produce and market a new line of mid priced audiophile grade electronics that would take advantage of the "Made in the USA", with the high quality recognition that Japanese companies have grown to become known for. This new line of electronics would also take advantage of Denon's supply chain and reach retailers across the United States to introduce first time buyers who demand a better quality product and are willing to pay a bit more for it.This alliance would eventually become successful due to the fact that many audiophiles look first for an item made in the United States and when that isn't possible, look for a similar item manufactured in Japan. If I had to recommend an electronics company to my friends and family it would definitely be Denon. I have been buying this brand for many years and I am not going to stop investing in this company anytime soon.
