When you look at the patch in the morning it should be discolored. The manufacturers are saying that this is proof that the foot detox patches as worked.

Where is the actual truth in the statements?

Ancient Eastern medicines are used in the making of foot detox pads. The tourmaline is one of the active ingredients in the foot detox pads. Another ingredient is bamboo vinegar. This draws toxins out of the system.

The whole thing is based around reflexology. Reflexology is based around the points in your foot which is connected to the major organs in your body. They say that toxins collect in your feet. That's where our pads come in.

Wood vinegar could be responsible for the discoloration. There is a concentration of the powdered form of this vinegar inside the patch. This powdered vinegar is dark in color, when it comes in contact with moisture it reverts to its original liquid state and it discolors the pad.

A friend of mind recently told me someone had put these pads on her feet and within 30 minutes they were "very dirty" with toxins. I told her a good foot soak in Epsom Salt would be more beneficial, less costly, and real.

I will also await comments to your article that may alter viewpoints.
