Diet Drink (Tea and everything you already have)

By Edited Aug 12, 2015 0 0

You know...

I know I always had a motivation problem when it came to losing weight. I could never get off my butt and do something about it even though I wanted to. I think I just wanted it to happen. On it's own. No work on my part. But that's not how it works.

At my local grocery store, King Soopers... (and they have this in EVERY grocery store), there are these shelves of things that are on major clearance... all the way in the back. I call it the reject pile.

One of the days that I went to check it out... I found a $3.50 jar of Decaf Unsweetened Nestea powder for like...$1.75. It was fantastic. I was a happy camper...

I did a little research on using Tea for weight loss, and apparently this Decaf Tea was actually pretty good if you just sipped it throughout the day.

I tried it...

Didn't like it.

So I tried to make it work, and came up with a recipe for the absolute PERFECT Diet Drink. I swear, I've been using it all day every day and watching what I eat, and I've been losing the weight I didn't think I could.

SO here's my little recipe... full of stuff you should already have at home. :)

What you need:

a Blender.

1.5 C. of Ice.

2 Tbsp. of Decaf Unsweetened Nestea Powder.

1/2. tsp. Nutmeg. (optional)

1 Tsp. Ginger. (great for metabolism and flavor alike)

1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon (optional)

1 Tsp. Vanilla extract (optional) [sounds stupid, I know... just trust me on this one. ;) ]

Through it all in the blender.

It'll be foamy and fabulous at the top, heads up.

I put it in a pitcher, and put it in the fridge. It's been working fabulously, let me say. I've done it for two weeks, drinking at least 2 glasses a day, and I've actually lost 9 lbs. (That's also due to my new excercises), but the drink alone should help out tremendously, especially if it's not the only thing you are doing to try and lose weight.

If it still tastes a little iffy, it is OK to add a packet of Stevia.

Hope you guys like it, tell me what you think down below. :)
