For instance, electrical conduit protects electrical wiring and the tow ends of this conduit are connected through the electrical conduit fittings. Again, electrical connectors are actually an electro-mechanical kind of device used as an interface for joining electrical circuits. • Batteries:

Batteries are probably one of the most important components used in any electrical device, as almost every electrical device seems to be equipped with a battery. They are used for storing electricity so that the device can still work off electricity when run on battery. The batteries used in the electrical devices are made of different kind of chemicals and metals, and different reactions are involved which generally generate the flow of the current at a specific voltage.

• Copper:

Studies have shown that copper is one of the most widely used electrical material in a lot of regions, making it perfectly ideal for electrical wires which are used for transmitting electricity flow between different places without losing much of it due to the resistance factor. Being resistant to corrosion and its ability of being easily formed into different shapes as required, copper is pretty much a top draw for electrical components.

• Transformers:

Transformers are lumps of iron along with two coils of wires wrapping them. They are used for changing AC voltage as well as current into its higher as well as lower values based on the electromagnetic induction principle. The transformer can be seen stepping up or stepping down the voltage in order to make it according to the circuit of which it is a part. This leads to a different power source for different voltage, which a circuit needs.

• Switches:

Switches are also quite famous where the electrical materials are concerned. They help in routing the electrical currents from one place to another. It is a hinged arm made of metal and it can be swung in the front as well as backward direction. When the switch contact is touched, it is “closed” and thus the electricity flows and then again, when is it moves away, it is in “open” state and thus electricity no longer can be seen flowing.

• Fuses:

Fuses protect other electrical components from damage and thus can very well make an assumption of their significance. Fuses are metal strips and they melt when the current in any circuit exceeds a particular level and the current stops flowing. Thus, it protects the excess amount of current from flowing into the appliance and damaging the electronic parts.

We might not even think of electrical conduits and conduit fittings along with electrical wire connectors in our day to day life, but the fact is that they play a big role in making sure that our lives function well and with safety. We are so in-tune with the electrical and technological advances made so far that we take such products for granted. They should be carefully chosen with the right purpose in mind.
