The Canon PowerShot A2200 has a 14.1 megapixel lens with 4x wide-angle optical zoom and 4x digital zoom measuring 28 mm wide. The camera can act as a high definition camcorder and record 720p HD videos. In automatic mode, it can select settings for 32 predefined shooting situations. Other features include a 2.7 inch LCD display where you can see your photos, discreet mode that disables sound, flash and AF beam, a 1/2.3 inch CCD image sensor, DIGIC 4 Image Processor, creative filters, SD card slot and USB 2.0 Hi-Speed connection. The battery life is good for roughly 280 shots. We feel that this is a good choice as a point and shoot camera. The major disadvantage is that it is slow and has no optical image stabilization.

We recommend this camera as a wonderful point and shoot camera for its price range. One disadvantage is that you cannot zoom while filming.

We recommend this camera as a great point and shoot camera for high-light conditions. The major disadvantage is that the shots are low quality in low-light situations.
