Dining for Less at Bucca di Beppo with or Without a Coupon

By Edited Sep 28, 2016 0 0

Three Ways to Enjoy Dinner for Two at Bucca Di Beppo for $20-$25

I had no idea how popular this Italian restaurant was! I learned about this eatery about four years ago, when I came across a $10 off Buca di Beppo coupon in the Sunday paper inserts. I was surprised to learn that Buca is a nationwide chain known for generous portions and family style eating, where a small “serves two or more,” and a large “serves four or more.”

Oh, Tiramisu!

I found that concept inviting, and although the price range of a small pasta dish at Buca di Beppo is narrow ($18.99-$22.99), there are no cheap eats here. At a minimum, dinner for two (because it is more typical for couples to each order an entrée instead of sharing one) will set you back about forty to forty-five bucks… and that is assuming you only drink water (which is good for you!) and forgo the appetizer and/or dessert. Don’t pay forty dollars or more for your Buca dinner!

Three Tips to Halve (yes, halve) Your Bucca di Beppo and Eat it Too!

1. No Buca di Beppo Coupon? Think Small. Share a Small Pasta Dish and have Cheap Eats for $20.

Remember, a small entrée will serve two or more. These small plates are a thing of beauty

Oh Tiramisu
when dining on a budget, so embrace the idea of eating smaller portions at Buca di Beppo.  There are many dinner menu items in the $18.99 and $19.99 range. Select one of those and enjoy the complimentary (and ubiquitous) bread that comes with it, and dinner is about $20. Share a small entrée such as their Shrimp Florentine and dinner for two will cost $21.99. You’re sure to be full and your wallet and waist line will thank you.

2.Use a Buca di Beppo Coupon, Still Think Small and Enjoy Dinner AND Dessert at Buca for $20

Buca di Beppo coupons are everywhere: online printable coupons, through the Buca E-club program, in the Sunday paper, entertainment coupon in the Entertainment Book, ValPak and more. They come out on a regular basis so there is really no reason to ever eat without a Buca coupon. One of the better coupons is the $10 off $20 (or more) when you dine in. You and your sweetie can break some bread together, share a small entrée such as the Chicken and Sausage Ziti ($19.99), and split an order of chocolate chip cannolis (9.95) for $20 after using Buca’s $10 off $20 or more coupon.

3. Want an Appetizer Too? Use a Buca di Beppo Coupon, Order Take Out and Enjoy an Appetizer, Entrée AND Dessert for $24

This one I love to do.  Occasionally, Buca will offer a $10 off of $20 or more coupon which is valid for take-out orders. If you love Buca, hop on those coupons when you see them because it

means even better value for you!

Here’s the secret to getting a three course meal for $24 at Buca di Beppo. Get two of the $10 off $20 take-out coupons and place two separate orders! For instance, I order a small Shrimp Florentine for $21.99. After the Buca di Beppo coupon, that dish is now $11.99. My hubby then places an order for a small mozzarella caprese ($11.99) and chocolate chip cannolis ($9.95). After the Bucca coupon, his total is also $11.99. Together, our Buca dinner for two which consists of bread (they give it to you with take-out too), an appetizer, a pasta dish and dessert is just under $24. One of the better perks of this route is eating in the comfort of your own home and enjoying your favorite bottle of wine that is sure to cost less per serving than if you ordered at Buca (assuming they even serve your favorite wine).

How about Dinner for Two from Buca and a Movie for $40?

Eggplant Parmigiana
This may not work for you and is a little off topic, but it’s one of my favorite dinner and movie experiences. After ordering and picking up our Buca dinner one summer evening (using our Buca di Beppo coupon for take-out of course), we went to the area drive-in, set up our little table and chairs outside of our car and enjoyed dinner, with a bottle of wine we brought from home, while watching a first-run double feature under the stars for $40. Dinner from Buca cost about $24 and the cost per person for the drive-in movie theatre for TWO movies was eight dollars each. You may not have a drive in theatre near you, but I bet you can come up with something fun to do with your Buca take-out that beats eating in too.
