There are many different baby strollers on the market today, but one the best and most popular brands is the Maclaren strollers. Maclaren's approach to baby strollers is simple and straightforward and they offer a lineup of strollers that fit many mother's needs. But there is one thing that many parents are finding out and that is that you don't have to pay full price on Maclaren baby strollers.

The first step to saving money on Maclaren strollers is to identify which stroller you will want to bargain hunt for. The Maclaren lineup features a range of lightweight umbrella strollers to full size strollers that are ideal for different situations. For a quick primer see below:

Maclaren Volo Strollers – These are the ultra lightweight, ultra convenient strollers you see at the park and in the shopping malls. Granted many of the Maclaren strollers are similar in size, but the Volo includes the essential features for travel and comfort and that's it.

Maclaren Techno Strollers – The Techno strollers come in two different models, the XT and the XLR. The Maclaren XT is a yet heavier and more durable stroller than either the Triumph or Volo. The XT can hold a child from birth up until 55 pounds making it a long lasting, worthwhile purchase. The XLR uses a slightly bigger frame to accommodate children up until they are 65 pounds, but other than that it nearly identical to the XT.

Maclaren Twin Strollers – The Maclaren Twin Strollers are perfect for the busy mom who has to manage two children. These double strollers come in two models, the Triumph and the Techno. Each twin stroller is a larger, double version of the one described above. For instance, the Twin Triumph is a double stroller that's lightweight and meant for day trips and strolling around the mall. While the Twin Techno is a large double stroller that can accommodate larger children making it easier to keep your toddlers in line. Each of the twin strollers come with individual hoods which means you can adjust each one to what the child is doing.

Once you've got your stroller picked out it's time to do some bargain hunting. The first thing to check out is if you can score a bargain on a Maclaren stroller clearance sale.
