Disposable Nursing Pads Review

By Edited Oct 15, 2016 0 0

I have used quite a few brands of disposable nursing pads, and am quite pleased with most of them. Some of them are better than others, so I am going to write about those that are, in my opinion the best, so you can avoid the mistakes I have already made.

The First Years Lanolin-Treated for Sore Nipples
  • These disposable nursing pads feature lanolin in the center which is very soothing to sore nipples
  • They are super-absorbent and leak-proof
  • Thin enough to be discreet under clothing
  • Features a non-slip backing keeping them in position
  • Has a special lining that keeps moisture away from your skin
Dr. Brown's Disposable Breast Pads
  • These disposable nursing pads are great, and I would recommend then to any new mom
  • Large coverage area with a very natural contour shape
  • Are not noticeable under clothing
  • Adhesive strip is wider and longer than on other brands, is perfect for holding it in place, even at night
  • Very soft and absorbent
  • Outer protective cover blocks leakage
  • Super-absorbent, cover a larger area than most pads
  • A bit more expensive, but worth the price difference
  • Very comfortable, excellent at keeping wetness away from your skin
  • Adhesive tape that keeps the pads in place
  • Individually wrapped for cleanliness
  • Ultra-thin and contoured shape, making them less noticeable
Playtex Nursing Necessities
  • Very absorbent leak-shield, which is great at pulling away the wetness from the skin
  • Non-irritating, and great leakage protection
  • Features gathered seams that naturally contour to the breast, which is great for all sizes
  • Individual wrapping for convenience
  • Adhesive tape to keep it in place
Curity Disposable Nursing Pads
  • Very soft to the skin
  • Self-contouring for a sleeker, smoother fit
  • Special film backing keeps your clothing dry
  • Pad is breathable for air circulation
  • Non-allergenic, non-irritating to the skin
  • Has moisture channels that take the moisture away from the center and spreads for over-all absorbency
