Disposable Toilet Seat Covers

Taking your child into a public restroom can be gross. Nothing worse than walking into a bathroom with a child that NEEDS TO GO NOW only to find a disgusting toilet area. Using disposable toilet seat covers can make it less traumatic for both you and your child.

Sure you try to do a little clean up in there, or maybe you try to lay strips of toilet paper down on the seat to protect your child. Inevitably either the paper slides off the toilet or no matter how well you lay out the paper, your child grabs and unprotected part as you gringe and can only think of scrubbing his or her hand.

Disposable toilet seat covers are an easy and convenient way to protect you and your family when using a public restroom. They come in a variety of colors and styles. You can find them in just a plain white or ones made specifically for kids.

Generic white ones are boring. To make the experience better for your child (and for that matter you too) you should look for toilet seat covers that have their favorite cartoon characters on them. You can find ones with pictures of Dora the Explorer and also several Sesame Street characters.

Besides making the covers look nice and fun for the kiddies, the fact of the matter is that you want them to be protected from germs and who knows what on a public toilet.

Using a disposable toilet seat cover is quite easy. You can shop the Internet and find them in 10 packs or more. They are very small and convenient for a parent to carry around when going out in public.

What you should look for in a disposable toilet seat cover for toddlers.

Ease of use. Does it fit in a pocket or purse? You don't want it to be too bulky to carry around. Is it waterproof? You will want a moisture free barrier between your child and the seat. Your child shouldn't have to endure mystery moisture while sitting on a toilet. Are the covers big enough to cover the whole seat and the sides? You want total coverage and then some of a toilet seat. Look for covers that extend far over the sides of a toilet so when your child goes to hold on, they are only touching the cover you placed.

Make sure they have an adhesive on the cover so it won't move. You want the toilet seat cover to be able to stay in place when in use. Check to see if there are sticky or adhesive tabs to put on the toilet so it won't move.

So there you have it. Using disposable toilet seat covers can be a simple solution to an icky problem. Shop around to find the right ones for you and your child.
