Diver Watches
Diver watches are designed for underwater diving, and feature a minimum water resistance level greater than 330 feet deep. Modern technology lets diver's watches go much deeper than that. Remember though, that diver watches are not substitutes for diving computers. However, they can do the same job. Some people think of a diver watch as an instrument that can go places that they cannot.
They were originally developed for military and professional use. The first diver watch was introduced back in 1932. They can be digital or analog. All diver watches must pass a series of tests to determine if they are good enough. Mechanical diver watches are required to have magnetic resistance, shock resistance, chemical resistance and obviously water pressure resistance. The materials used for the watches include stainless steel, titanium, and plastics.
You can find diver watches at a lot of different sites, stores and catalogs. They are relatively expensive, but well worth it if you dream of being a scuba diver. If you are looking for something a bit more affordable, there are watches that are not very expensive. These particular diver watches can go about 200 meters deep. If you plan to dive deeper, then you will probably have to spend a little extra. Diver watches are great gifts to send to family members and friends who love to dive.
Most diver watches are easy to read, and quite sporty. They come in a lot of different designs, and are built to last long. The dial is usually illuminated when you dive into the dark, muggy water. They are designed for both men and women, and make a great fashion accessory, as well as a capable diving tool. They are stylish and nice looking and you can wear them out of water as well. Swiss diver watches are made to look great, and are suitable for serious diving trips.
