With walking and running you have the impact to deal but with the elliptical you do not. Thanks to the cardiovascular workout your body will burn the fat and calories just as if you were doing in aerobic workout. The added benefit to this is that your body muscles start to build and it strengthens your bone density.

In the majority of cases your workout will include both upper and lower body but be aware that some elliptical trainers do not have the components for upper body workouts. You will find a variety of makes and models on the market. You will have no difficulty finding one of these fine machines that suits both your needs and your budget.

One of the most important aspects of any exercise is to be committed and set realistic goals for yourself. If you falter then just restructure your routine and start your exercise regime again and eventually it will pay off.
