Does An Online Business Make Sense

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

With the economy in a shambles it seems that everyone is trying to make extra money. The problem is there aren't that many jobs available for people to choose from. We are consistently losing jobs every year to cheaper labor overseas . I saw this coming almost twenty years ago when I worked for a company that was building a new plywood mill in Chile. The workers worked just as hard as the people in the US, they knew just as much as the work force in the US and they worked for about 20% of the US wages. It was obvious that the American worker could not compete by using his or her back only. They would have to use brain power in order to stay competitive.

Fast forward 20 years and where are we? Our schools are a shambles, we graduate less engineers and scientist per capita than we ever have before, we are in debt to the world, and we have very few jobs to go around. It is going to take a major change in how we think about work if we are going to dig ourselves out of this hole.

We can no longer expect that a big corporation or the government is going to take care of us because both are either bankrupt or close to it. The only solution is to do what our forefathers did after their depression. Knuckle down and build businesses that support us and our families. The best place I think to do this is on the internet. The web is wide open just like the US west was 150 years ago. There are opportunities everywhere you look for people who are willing to work hard and provide good service to others. It is time to dispel the belief that the internet is a Get Rich Quick place. It is not. But it is a place where people can leverage their talent and time to create a full time business quicker than almost anywhere else.

I have had an internet business for about 4 months. I am not rich but I am doubling my income every month. If you want to make money you need to start looking for online business opportunities and researching all you can. There is a lot of good, free information to help you get started. I would suggest you not buy any products advertising they will make you money. At least not for the first 6 months. Just click on ads, read what they have to say, get on email lists and learn all you can. It is absolutely amazing how much information you can get for free from these web sites.

As you study new sites keep track of all the online business opportunity tips you come across. Start a notebook and take notes of what seems to work. Within 6 months you will know more than the majority of the people online and you will have a great idea of where you want to go in building your business.

The economy is changing and the only people who will do well are the ones who learn how to take care of themselves. You can not long sit back and expect a big corporation to take care of you. Instead, it is time to get on the internet and find a good online business opportunity to pursue.
