Make Grip Strength Training Fun

Need to buy an executive toy for someone, want to challenge yourself to improve control and coordination of your hands. Perhaps you need to improve your grip strength for a job, sport, playing a musical instrument or simply because you're aware that you hands and wrists are too weak. Whatever your reason you should have a look at buying a Powerball.

Dynaflex Powerballs are a great way of training the muscles in your forearm, wrist and hands to improve strength, which will give you a firm handshake. A recent study showed that those of the aging population with a firm, strong hand shake were more likely to live longer than their contemporise with a weak handshake. So it's worth keeping your body in top form and will also help with opening those pesky jam jars by using grip strengthening products and exercises.

The best gyroscopes are the Dynaflex Powerballs, they are approximately the size of a tennis ball and fit in the palm of your hand.

Inside contains a gyroscope that you start spinning with a length of string. The gyroscope turns and with your hand you need to keep it spinning. When you're starting out this is easier said than done. Coordination is needed and an awareness of what makes the gyroscope spin, it's all too easy to go from spinning well to stopping dead. But that's the fun, isn't it. The gyroscope exerts an outward force on to your hand which your hand, wrist and forearm needs to control. It is very easy to learn after just a little practice.

There are other designs on the market to for grip strengthening products such as the GripMaster and Captains of Crush Hand Gripper. All of which will have you improving your grip strength just be doing a few minutes each day. Many of these products are available to buy in different strengths. My tip is to never overestimate your strength as to be unable to close a hand gripper fully is to defeat the object of the training. Start with a lesser strength Hand Gripper and move up. Though this does not apply with the Dynaflex Powerball as 'one size fits all', as the saying goes.
