Earning Money Online for Non-Writers

By Edited Jun 1, 2016 1 2

Most articles on making money online deal with article marketing, freelance writing income and content farms. For those workers who do not have English as a first language, grammar skills or a talent for the written word, they often back out of the article feeling frustrated. In fact, there are many ways to earn money online if you aren't a writer.

WebAnswers

WebAnswers is a website where people pay to answer questions. You answer a question by providing relevant, fresh information to the questioner. You earn money when a third-party clicks on one of the ads on the page. Payment is made using AdSense.

In order to earn money, you must answer 50 questions to attach your AdSense ID or apply for an AdSense account. When the questioner picks the best answer, you no longer earn from that question. Should you get chosen, you earn all ad revenue for any clicks on that page. For undecided answers, the ad revenue is divvied up amongst everyone who submitted an answer.

Amazon Mechanical Turk

Amazon Mechanical Turk (mTurk) lets you complete manual computer tasks for money. You perform tasks such as categorizing photos, surfing web pages for contact information and transcribing small bits of audio into text. You get paid through Amazon. You get paid through Amazon or by requesting a gift card. Amazon mTurk is great for earning money while watching TV or in your spare time. Most jobs pay mere pennies and nickels but perform enough tasks and it all ads up.

Online Marketplaces

Online marketplaces such as Elance, Guru and oDesk let you bid on jobs such as transcription, virtual assistant, data entry and manual labor. Clients put up jobs that they need completed. You submit a bid proposal for how much you would charge and your turnaround time. Payment is made upon completion into an account. You request payout once you get paid. You often have to low-ball bids to get some clients. It's easier to get clients if you have a proven track record on these websites.

Fiverr

Fiverr is a new type of website where you list an ad that says what you will do for five dollars: such as write an article, teach someone to dance, create a PowerPoint, get Twitter followers, etc. You can be as creative as possible in order to get your $5. Once you complete the task, the client pays you.

There are numerous ways to make money online if you apply yourself. They always require hard work and motivation but you can earn a living entirely online if you try hard enough.
