In this article, we will be able to find out the Easter 2011 dates. In addition, the Easter 2011 dates for Eastern Orthodox Christianity are listed here as well. Western Christians celebrate it on a Sunday right after the Paschal Full Moon. This was a reality when the Council of Nicea established Easter in 325 AD, but the line of history changed this directive's meaning and for this reason, people tend to become confused as to what the exact dates for this holy celebration are.

Before moving on to the Easter 2011 dates, let us first find out what the meaning of Easter is. Christians rejoice in the Lord's resurrection during the Easter Sunday. In general, this particular time among the other Easter 2011 dates is the period where Christian churches are filled with so many people who will be attending the Mass. As what is stated in the Scripture and what Christians believe, Jesus has been raised from the dead or has returned to life 3 days following his demise on the cross. Good Friday, one of the days included in the Easter 2011 dates, is the day when Jesus died by being crucified in which Christians commemorate. Jesus was nailed on the cross to pay for our sins; He died, was buried and resurrected – a sign that those who have faith in Him will have an everlasting life with Him.
