By Edited Mar 27, 2016 0 1

Looking for some BBQ side dish ideas?

There is nothing better during the summer months than great summer foods which always include some foods on the grill. Many of the best side dishes can be made quickly and are perfect for those hot summer days. Every year around this time; there are a few staples that you can prepare quickly and serve to a few close friends along with your grilled foods. Deviled Eggs, Seafood Pasta Salad, and Baked Beans are some of my favorites. Follow the directions below and try one or all of them for yourself.

Deviled Eggs

Boil one dozen eggs and then cool them in water. Peel the eggs and cut them in half. Scoop out the yolks of all the eggs and put them in a separate bowl. Place the egg whites on a platter and then prepare the yolks. Your ingredients to “Devil” your eggs are: Cooked egg yolks, sandwich spread, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. First get a fork, and mash the egg yolks into small pieces. Then mix in the other ingredients. Three Tablespoons of sandwich spread, two tablespoons of mayonnaise, and two light sprinkles of salt and pepper. Make sure to add only enough to give it a semi-sweet taste. Place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or serve immediately.

Pasta Salad

Mix the mayonnaise with the herbs in the packet as directed. Drop the mixture in with the other ingredients and stir well. This pasta salad will be one of the highlights of any barbecue that you put together.

Baked Beans

When it comes to baked beans; everyone has a different recipe, but one of my favorites is one that I came upon accidentally. Use four cans or pork and beans, one pound of ground beef; one can of crushed pineapples, and brown sugar. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Start out browning one pound of ground beef with a tablespoon of season salt and pepper. In your baking pan add four cans of pork and beans, chopped bell peppers, chopped onions, crushed pineapples, ground beef, and brown sugar. Mix thoroughly and then sprinkle a brown sugar on top of mixture before putting it in the oven. Bake for one hour or until the bake beans begin to look dried out. Remove from oven and let cool.

Good food and great conversation is the best part of getting together during the summer. Making meals that are delicious and quick help you to get back to your guests quickly. So gather up your ingredients and make your best deviled eggs, pasta salad, and baked beans. You and your friends will have a meal that won’t be soon forgotten. So heat up the grill, invite over some of your closest friends; cook those steaks and salmon and enjoy the rest of your summer.

I love a great BBQ. It really is a great article for someone who is really hungary. I am a deviled eggs kind of guy myself. On the other hand, I love baked beans.
