Easy Nail Art Designs

Do you spend hundreds of dollars getting nail art designs painted on your fingers? While the trend might be to show off this art form and dazzle the ground. Paying a salon to do this for you can start to take a nice chunk of change out of your bank account. Why not do this for yourself at home.

 

All that you need is the right tools and these easy nail art designs to get the ball rolling. Once you experiment with these easy styles, you can explore other areas. You are only limited by your imagination with what you can create with the colors at hand.

 

Nail Art Design: Lady Bugs

 

The lady bug is a very simple and easy to paint idea. You can do this on adult or a child’s fingers or toes. You will need a red, white, and black nail polishes. The best thing to do is to get a smaller brush so that you can easily create the smaller details.

 

Step One

 

You will want to coat the entire nail with the red nail polish. You can use any shade of red that you have on had. Choose one with a shimmer to it to add so flair to your bugs.

 

Step Two

 

With the smaller brush paint a line across the top of the nail with the black. This should be about one fourth of the way down the nail. Fill in this section with the black nail polish.

 

Step Three

 

Paint down the center of the nail from the black area that you just painted and try to flair it out to make it look like wings of your lady bug.

 

Step Four

 

Paint black dots on the red wings that you just created for your nail art design. Finish up with two white spots on the top black that is the head to represent the eyes.

 

Nail Art Design: M & Ms

 

This is a fun colorful look that young and old will enjoy. This is great to do when you have a large selection of nail polish colors. You will also need your basic black and white for details.

 

Step One

 

Paint each finger on one hand a different nail polish. You can use any shades that you have on hand. However if you want to be very M & M, you will want to go with red, orange, blue, green, and yellow.

 

Step Two

 

Create eyes for each of your M & M nail art using the black and white polishes. You can outline the eyes in black and use the white to highlight. You will also want to create different smiles with the black on each character.

 

Step Three

 

The final touch is to write an M on each nail to finish your look.

 

Nail Art Design: Flying Kite

 

This easy nail art design is easily going to leave friends and family marveling at your skills. This will take a little more planning then the previous two ideas. However, once you have this down you can easily change the flying kite to a bird, bee, or even a plane.

 

Step One

 

Paint all your nails a light blue to mimic the color of the sky. You can in truth use any color for a background if blue is not really your thing.

 

Step Two

 

On your thumb paint a diamond. You can use any colors that you want and even make designs on the kite itself. Outline the final image in black to make it stand out.

 

Step Three

 

Trace from the bottom of the kite the string. You are going to make what appears to be one line for the string that travels across your remaining nails. Make sure to make it loop a couple of times.

 

Step Four

 

You can paint little bows on the string that match your kite to make sure that people realize that this is all one big nail art design.

 

No matter which of the nail art designs that you have chose to do from the above ideas, you will want your final step with all of them to be to put a layer of clear top coat on to keep all your hard work in place. Make sure to reapply a top coat every couple of days to keep your look looking great.
