- You want a dish that taste so good that you don’t end up with an uneaten dish that you have to take back home or throw out.
Using a slow cooker will make your life so much easier whenever you are going to a party or pitch in. You can buy carrying cases the not only make it easy to carry your slow cooker, but will also insulate it.
People tend to gravitate to food that is in slow cookers because it is warm and just seems like a safer choice when choosing what to eat at a pot luck.
Try out one of these 3 recipes the next time that you have to bring a covered dish. They are all very easy to make and will not take you more than a few minutes to put together, so they work great if you are in a hurry.
All the recipes are also super cheap to make but you will never hear a complaint if you show up with on of these.
Slow Cooker Barbecue Meatballs Recipe
1-2 Package of frozen Italian style meatballs depending on size of the package
1 bottle of Sweet Baby Ray’s Sweet’n Spicy barbecue sauce (or your favorite bbq sauce)
Put the meatballs into the slow cooker and then add the barbecue sauce and heat until warmed up, then put on warm setting
Slow Cooker Baked Potatoes Recipe
10 to 12 potatoes depending on how big your slow cooker is
Prick potatoes with fork and wrap each in foil. Fill slow cooker with potatoes. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours. ( or on for High 2 1/4 to 4.) Do not add water.
Slow Cooker Queso Dip Recipe
1 Box of Velveeta cheese
About a cup or so of salsa ( it is better to add more later than to have runny dip)
A small amount of milk ( ¼ cup, you can add more if it is to thick)
1 Bag of tortilla chips
Add all this to the slow cooker. Heat until melted and mix. Put on warm and mix occasionally
