Easy Steps for Whole Body Detoxification

By Edited Jan 8, 2014 0 1

Most health professionals agree that whole body detoxification is a good idea even if you're not overweight. Detoxification is the process of eliminating poisons and mucus from our bodies that cause constipation and reduce the functions of our organs including our kidneys, liver, heart, and even our skin.

Simple whole body detoxification involves three basic steps. The first is to drink plenty of water to flush out poisons and rehydrate our bodies.

The second is replacing artificial ingredients and processed foods with raw fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

The third is moderate exercise which speeds up your metabolism and gives you a feeling of general health and wellbeing. Water is the one miracle substance that you can't live without.

If you are dehydrated, your body goes into a state where it stores up and recycles the water it already contains. By drinking plenty of fresh water, your body can replace the water it stores and flush out old water along with toxins.

Sipping water all day is a great way to help your body help itself. If you can't stand the taste of regular tap water, try adding a slice of lemon or lime or buy bottled water.

Just avoid waters that have any added ingredients that are not all natural. The next step in whole body detoxification is eliminating all artificial ingredients from your diet. If you read labels, you know that processed foods contain all types of additives to enhance flavor and color.

Many of the ingredients are so complicated that unless you have a degree in chemistry, it's hard to tell exactly what they are, let alone pronounce their names.

In addition, animal products like chicken, eggs, beef and milk are laced with hormones and antibiotics. By substituting fresh, raw vegetables and fruit for these harmful substances, you can not only cleanse your body, but also eliminate fats and empty calories from your diet.

Eating whole grains instead of refined flour is also a way to add fiber that helps clean your digestive system. A good exercise plan has so many benefits. First of all, it can help you lose weight by burning calories.

Secondly, it creates chemicals in your brain that elevate your mood and relieve stress. It also improves health by preventing chronic disease factors like high cholesterol and blood pressure. All of your organs are stimulated which helps in your whole body detoxification.

For example, your heart beats faster and carries more oxygen to your cells and carries away more toxins from your blood. Your skin sweats and releases salts and pollutants. In short, getting your body in motion makes you feel less sluggish while giving you more stamina and energy.

Whole body detoxification does not have to be complicated. Simply drink plenty of water throughout the day to rehydrate and flush the toxins out of your body. Next eliminate all artificial ingredients from your diet by eating raw, natural whole foods.

Lastly, start a simple exercise program that increases circulation to all your body organs. You will not only look more healthy, you will also feel like a new person.
