Easy Tips to Protect Your Skin from the Sun

By | 2 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

The days of worshipping the sun and not worrying about what the harmful rays were doing to your skin are gone. It seems that everyone is looking for the best ways to protect their skin from the sun. The sun's damaging rays can cause premature aging and may even lead to skin cancer. That is why it is important to protect your skin from the sun everyday when you leave the house. There are many great things to do out in the sun and all you need to do is to make sure that you are protected to do it the safe way.

Tip One

Wear light colored clothes like white and beige to protect your skin from the sun. Darker colors like black attract the sunlight and can cause you to get overheated as well as bringing your skin in more contact with the harmful rays.

Tip Two

Wear light clothes that cover your skin to stay cool and protect your skin. A cap sleeve top is just as cool as a tank top, but it gives you so much more protection from the harmful rays of the sun.

Tip Three

Keep a hat on your head to protect the delicate skin of your scalp. Your head takes a beating from the sun every time that you walk out your door. To keep yourself protected you should always make sure to wear a hat when outside.
