Save money automatically

Money can slip through our fingers so quickly, and before you know it, you are at the end of the money before the end of the month!

Are you looking for easy ways to save money automatically? But it just doesn't happen?

Then here are a few ways to get back on track now, and get that savings account started for your dreams.

1. Go to your bank, and set up a automatic withdrawal from your account that your paycheck gets deposited in. Start with something small, like 5%. Once you get used to that money missing, you can up it a bit more. Save money automatically this way

2. Bank any raises or overtime you get. If you bank online, as soon as your paycheck shows up, get on the internet and transfer that raise or overtime right away, before you find a home for it in your pocket! If you don't bank online, head right to the bank or bank machine right after work on the day you get paid and move it over now, and then forget about it! There are easy ways to save money automatically, but with overtime, it has to be done by you, as you won't likely get the same extra money each pay.

3. Work. Does your company that you work for have easy ways to save money automatically? If they do, then sign up for it. Once you set something up, you will know exactly how much money you have left. You will quickly learn to live on this money.

Paying yourself first is important. There will always be bills to be paid. But being human, we will tend to spend what we have, so if you make yourself the number one bill on the list, and make it happen, save money automatically, then it is done. Your savings will grow.

4. Your bills. Here are some more easy ways to save money automatically. Go through all your bills, see if you can trim anything. For example: cell phones. Can you bundle the household cell phones into one bill to save money? Or bundle your internet, cable and cell phones if they are the same company. Or switch so you can bundle. There is huge savings here.

Try and trim some money from your groceries, or spending, even just a few dollars here and there, and then take a pad of paper and write down all the bills you have been paying on the left, and then on the right side of your paper, write down what you are paying now, or are going to pay once you have adjusted them with less spending.

Take your lunch, buy less coffee, become more aware of your cash spending, as this is hard to track, maybe try writing it down. Watch where you take out your cash. Are you getting large bank fees? Can you get them down? Look at everything you spend money on. This could take a bit of time, but is well worth it in the end.

If you are looking for easy ways to save money automatically, then you have to do a bit of work in the beginning to get it set up. But once you do, you will be amazed how fast you save money.

Add the total of the bills you are paying each month now. Then add up the new column of adjusted amounts. Even if it is only $50.00 that you can manage to trim per month right now, that is still $600.00 dollars per year without too much pain.

Get to the bank right now, or phone them or set something up online, right now. Don't put it off, do this right now, while you are thinking about it. Get this amount you have come up with and split it between how many pays you get per month. Then get it transferred automatically. Pat yourself on the back once you have done this, as you have just taken a HUGE step.

If you can use even one of the above steps, then you will have found easy ways to save money automatically, and it will grow. If you have it in a high interest savings account, you should see even more. If you know you will be tempted, then make sure it is in a savings account that you cannot access from the internet or bank machine. One that you would have to go into the bank in person to get at.

Last resort. You need to focus on a dream or event or purchase you really want. If you really want something then you are more likely to try these easy ways to save money automatically.

If you want that big screen TV, and it costs $2000.00. If you start right now, you will need to find $167.00 per month for the next 12 months. If you get paid twice a month, then that will be $83.50 per pay. Take another look at those bills, cut out some of those muffins or lunches out. This means you have to find approximately $6.00 per day in savings.

So between coffees, muffins, and bundling your cell phone and internet, and buying a few more vegetables and eating at home, rather than takeout pizzas, you will find your money.

By having a goal in mind, you will be motivated and will find easy ways to save money automatically. So take your goal, and divide it by your pays, and see if you can come up with the money to fulfill your goals. If it is something bigger, like a house. Give yourself a reasonable time limit. Such as 3,4 or 5 years. Work out how much you need per pay. Then save it automatically. If you get overtime or raises in the meantime, then you will be ahead of your schedule, as long as you manually add the new amount.

But if you get your bank on your side, and talk to someone and set it up, then you can forget about it, knowing that you will save money automatically.

So, there are easy ways to save money automatically. You just have to take a little bit of time right now, and go through your bills and shave some money so that you can save money automatically. This is the rest of your life, take the time right now and get it set up.

Better not take the ATM card for the saving account, otherwise the temptation to spend money is great.
