Eco friendly house cleaning
Eco friendly house cleaning products are not always cheap and it is often easier on the pocket to just buy regular branded products that are household names that we know well. Instead of say, buying eco friendly home products, we just stick to what we know and put the effort into the "too hard basket".
As the damage that we are doing to our environment and world with harsh detergents becomes more apparent, it is becoming increasingly important that we all "do our bit". You don't have to go ballistic, but you can start off small, educate your children and all help out a little.
So I'm suggesting that maybe next time you go shopping buy just at least one eco friendly house cleaning product, be it washing detergent for your dishwasher, natural soap or washing powder for you clothes. Once you get into the groove of adding one item to your list and see that yes, it does work as well as any well known brand, you will be confident to try yet another product: say maybe a pet stain removal or a carpet stain removal.
If you're in the letting industry, then why not share your business with a local eco friendly carpet cleaning company or hire an eco friendly cleaning company for your office. This can also enhance your reputation, as the chances are that your support for them will be rewarded with their recommendation of your name. Plus you are giving something back to the community, as the chances are that these are the little guys, and need all the business they can get.
A cheap, dynamic eco friendly product that I swear by is Washing Soda Crystals. It's available in most stores and is so versatile that you will never want to be without it again.
Now you can't try before you buy, but if you are unsure of whether you want to risk those few dollars, then here are a couple of things that you may have previously struggled with in the past, but Soda Crystals can help with.
Blocked sinks and drains
Clogged waste pipes
Scum build up in bathrooms and showers
Grease build up in kitchens
Go on, do the right thing and give 'em a go - after all, you pay more for a burger and fries from a multi-national company that doesn't actually give a hoot about the world we live in. Maybe if we lead by example then these global conglomerates will feel the pressure and take on a more eco friendly stance too!
