Electric Heated Mattress Pad - Get Warm Between The Sheets Tonight

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 1 2

Get the Heat From Below

The forecast calls for another bitterly cold night, and as you get into your jammies and turn back the covers, you can't help but brace yourself for the those cold sheets right?

Then maybe it is time to try an electric heated mattress pad. Not long ago, people used to warm up their beds with hot water bottles, that they would put in there before bed, but that only targets a small area of the bed. Using a heated mattress pad is a great way to warm up the entire bed before you get in.

You can get heated blankets and heating pads, but there is something about getting the heat right underneath you. It instantly warms up the entire bed, and you don't need all those layers on top.

If you suffer from aches and pains, especially at night, and usually resorted to heating pads that target a small area, then you should consider one of these heated mattress pads. They are a wonderful way to warm up the bed safely, before you get in for the night. You don't have to spend the first 1/2 hour in bed trying to warm up with your body heat.

If you have aches and pains, such as sore joints, climbing into a cold bed, does not make them feel any better. Then having lots of weighty blankets on top can make some pain feel worse.

An electric heated mattress pad will keep you warm all night, and in those cold winter months, you can turn down your furnace, while you stay warm and snuggly in your heated bed.

If you find the warmth of heating pads helps your aches and pains, then give a heated mattress pad a try. It is a more efficient way to get the heat to those sore joints. By actually laying on the heat, your entire body can get the benefit.

You can get these pads to fit any size of bed, and they fit snuggly, just like a fitted sheet. You then put your regular sheets over top and adjust the heat to a comfortable temperature for you. You can choose to leave the electric heated mattress pad on low all night, or you can turn it on just before bed to warm up the bed and then turn it off. Totally up to you.

Having your very own heated mattress pad, is a great way to help with aches and pains, and you may find that you get a much better nights sleep. You can get these in bedding stores, and also online. Obviously you will need a electrical outlet nearby, but other than that, you fit it right onto the mattress and then cover with your regular bedding for a wonder cozy nights sleep. Here are three heated mattress pads that have great reviews.

Sunbeam Heated Mattress Pad

An Electric Heated Mattress Pad would make a wonderful gift for someone who works hard and feels the aches and pains at night, or for anyone who would love to have a warm bed to crawl into, especially when the cold winds and snow are blowing outside. Or anyone that likes to turn the house thermostat down overnight but wants to stay warm in bed.

These heated mattress pads are quilted and thick for your protection, you are never laying on wires or lumps and bumps. They can be taken apart and are totally washable. Things have come along way since the heating pad that would only target one joint or muscle on the surface. By laying on the gentle heat every joint and muscle can get the benefit.

I used to used a heated blanket when I lived in New England. This sounds like a better alternative. Thanks for the info.
