Envirocycle Garden Composters

By Edited Jul 8, 2015 0 0

More gardeners are choosing compost tumblers because they are so fast at producing viable compost. As with everything to do with garden composters, the bigger they are, and the more you have, the more garden waste and kitchen scraps you can recycle. But, most gardeners do not have the luxury of endless space or limitless budgets.

If you are thinking about a small compost tumbler, the Envirocycle should be first choice. If space is at a premium your garden compost bin should be compact and neat. The Envirocycle compost tumbler is exactly that. The design is curvy to say the least turning your garden compost bin into a bit of a feature.

Simple Rotating Compost Bin

More importantly the Envirocycle compost tumbler is a fine compost bin. Being relatively small, it is simple to rotate, something some of the larger compost tumblers definitely are not. Rotating your compost a few times a week, is a simple way to keep all the garden waste aerated and well-mixed. With a balanced addition of both green and brown waste, you can create usable garden compost in a matter of weeks rather than months.

Vermin Proof Garden Composter

Being a sealed unit, the Envirocycle compost tumbler is a safe way to store garden waste without attracting either pets or vermin.

Organic Liquid Feed Collected

A unique feature of this rotating garden composter is the hollow base that collects surplus liquid from your decomposing organic matter. This compost tea is a fine fertilizer. Diluted with water it makes an excellent organic liquid feed, for lawns, gardens and indoor plants alike.

This valuable resource is usually lost as runoff with ordinary garden compost bins, but with the Envirocycle composter you get to keep all the goodness you put into the bin.

Green Compost Tumblers

The Envirocycle actually comes in green or black, but both are made from 50% post-consumer recycled plastic making them both relatively 'green'. With recycling garden waste and kitchen scraps meaning you cut the volume of waste you send to landfill, and the bonus of free organic compost being created at home, these really are environmentally friendly garden composters.

No Wheelbarrow Required

If you are not a fan of shovelling, then barrowing your garden compost around the yard, fear not. The Envirocycle drum simply rolls off it's base. Roll your garden composter to the site you wish to use the finished compost, then simply open the lid and let that lovely hummus out into your garden. Garden composting could not be any easier. Another reason why the Envirocycle is one of the best small garden composters on the market today.
