For the past couple of days, I've been researching all kinds of methods to make a little(or a lot) extra income. It's amazing how much great information there is on the net about this. So far, here's what I personally am doing to make some extra money and additional ideas to get your wheels turning.
The first idea is pretty simple. Have you heard of Cash 4 Gold? They have been advertising on TV for years now and they will buy your gold. I remember seeing on TV the other day that gold is at an all-time high in terms of its price so now is a better time than ever to be selling your gold in my opinion.
Second, look for items that you recently bought but are not 100% satisfied with. If they're under a guarantee, consider getting a refund. Depending on how much you spent, you could make an easy couple of hundred bucks with this method alone.
Next, there's Infobarrel and other revenue sharing websites that will share advertising revenue with you if you write for them. I've been doing this for a while now and I'm planning on continuing to do this. I haven't gotten rich yet but I do believe it's a promising stream of extra income.
Also, you can go all the way and build a real business online. That's what I'm doing now. I just launched Speed-Reading-Academy.com using SBI! and I think you can do the same too. Your own business is where the money is at to tell you the truth.
Last summer, I got a full-time gig working for a recycling not-for-profit. It didn't pay much but it was for a good cause so I really killed 2 birds with one stone on that one. I contributed to a cause I believe in while making some extra income.
I want to go back to the gold idea. Let's not focus so much on gold but let's focus on selling stuff instead. This is one of the quickest ways to get some extra money if you're in a rut. There are a lot of services like Cash 4 Gold that will pay you for your used stuff. A lot of the time, they will send you a prepaid envelope to cover the shipping fees. I've found legitimate websites that will buy your used(even if broken) laptops, old cell phones, and other electronics among other things.
Next, you can sell your old DVDs and CDs... you know, the ones you never listen to! What's the point of having them lying around when you could have cash in the bank instead. Remember, CASH IS KING.
Here are 2 other things I'd like to try although I'm not sure if I can find any opportunities in these 2 fields:
1. Medical trials(ie. be a human guinea pig): they pay really well
2. Focus group participant(no risky medications to test... you just share your opinion)
