FHI Flat Iron for Curly hair

By Edited Aug 13, 2015 0 0

Runway Model

I decided to buy an FHI flat iron last week, and I'm so happy with my new flat iron that I just had to tell somebody about it. I've owned less expensive flat irons in the past and they just don't work as well as this one.

I didn't choose their top of the line model, the FHI Runway, because I just couldn't afford it on my income, but they also have models that are almost as good for a lot less. The one I decided on is the FHI Platform model. I had a hard time trying to decide on whether to get the black one or the pink one, but I finally decided on pink. I just love that color.

The FHI Platform isn't pure ceramic, but then it doesn't cost $450 either. It is priced at a far more reasonable under $200 neighborhood. Yes, you can find cheaper flat irons, but I figure you get what you pay for, and I think I'm worth it.

Just like the Runway model, my new Platform model is 1" wide and is adjustable from 140 degrees to 450 degrees. But instead pure ceramic which I've read gives the most even heat, this one is ceramic coated with tourmaline and titanium embedded in it. This is sort of technical, but those two minerals give off negative ions, which sort of gets rid of the positive ions from static electricity. That's what makes your hair frizz and the individual hairs try to get away from each other. Anyway, all I know is that my hair comes out so shiny and manageable that I don't really care what they added, I'm just glad they did.

Flat iron for thick curls

I have thick hair with a moderate curl to it. While I do like some curl to it, if I just leave it alone it's way more curly than I want. I also like to be able to change my hairstyle from time to time and my new flat iron makes doing that so much easier than it was with my old flat iron.

Everyone wants to look their best, and I'm like anyone else in that respect. I want to look good. I want to look attractive, and my new FHI flat iron helps me get the look I want.

Sometimes I like to straighten my hair after getting it cut, but then there are other times when I go for a little curl. I like to create a soft curl the hangs down and has just that little bit of spring to it that lets it bounce. When I get that look, I just know that the guys are checking me out. And I have to admit, it feels good.

My new flat iron makes it so easy to get that look, and my hair looks so healthy too. It has this really nice shine after using the flat iron on it.

I have to say that if you want to get your hair looking its best, I think you should get an FHI flat iron too.
