We all love our pets but this love can carry a price by way of clumps of fur on furniture, clothing and carpets that can be a pain to cleanup. There are many de-shedding tools for your pet on the market today but few really seem to be all that effective when it comes to getting rid of all the soon to be nuisance remains of fur that will be left on you and around the home.

Owning a long-haired variety animal can prove to require more upkeep than a shorter haired breed. For this reason, a superior de-shedding tool is required to get the job done right while keeping your pet happy.

I happen to own a long haired tabby cat that has a huge problem with shedding. This little problem led me on a quest to find a better tool to get rid of the fur in a controlled fashion rather than have him rub his itchy coat all over my couch as well as other areas of the home. During my quest, I found the FURminator deShedding Tool. The design of this particular tool seemed sturdy enough and looked like a more effective means to get the job done.

Upon the first trial my feline companion was a little suspect of the FURminator deShedding Tool but quickly warmed up to it when I ran it through his fur. I was amazed of just how much fur the tool extracted from his coat and he loved it as well.

The FURminator deShedding Tool does a great job of getting down to the under coat of my cat's fur. Getting all the fur off of the tool was much easier than other de-shedding tools I had tried as well. The easy grip handle is much better than other comparable brands, making it a good choice for those who have arthritis of the hands.

My cat's behavior has changed dramatically as he is able to live and play without having to be bothered by an itchy coat of dead fur. He no longer has the unsightly and unhealthy problem of hair balls that plagued him before I bought the FURminator deShedding Tool.

In Closing

I highly recommend this tool for your cat or dog for that matter. It is a far superior de-shedding tool in my opinion and the cost is very reasonable. I no longer have the arduous task of removing fur that had attached itself to the furniture in the past.
