Fathers Day is not far away and it is time to give serious thought to what you are going to buy. If your father is a gardener then there is a wide array of gifts to choose from. Tools, like anyone who works with their hands, gardeners appreciate good tools.

If you father spends considerable time in the garden, then the garden tool cart may be just the thin. The cart allows the gardener to take his tools with him as he moves around the garden and also acts as a storage unit when you put them back into the garden shed or garage.

If Dad is the type of gardener who just has to get down and weed, then a kneeling stool will make it easier for him to do battle with those persistent weeds. The kneeling stool provides a comfortable pad to kneel on.

Bird feeders and bird houses make ideal gifts for the person who enjoys gardening but also loves birds. The feeder brings year round activity to the yard. This is the perfect gift for the gardner who enjoys spending time sitting in the garden watching and observing Nature.

Some gardeners like to have a special hat or a pair of gardening shoes and, of course, gardening gloves are a practical necessity.

I like solar lights to light up the garden pathways so that I can enjoy being outside at night and not wander accidentally into a garden bed.

If our father is a gardener then something for the garden may be the perfect Fathers Day gift.
