SILVER DOLLAR CITY
Silver dollar city is one of the most popular Branson Missouri attractions. It is a theme park set in the 1880’s. It features rides, including the Fire in the Hole roller coaster, Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train, and the American Plunge ride. There are also some theatres including the Sliver Dollar Saloon, the Echo Hollow amphitheatre, and the Opera House. There are plenty of stores that demonstrate different crafts such as Browns Candy Factory, Hazel's Blown & Cut Glass, as well as Sullivan's Mill to name a few.
The theme park also has a natural cave called Marvel cave with tours through out the day. They also feature lantern light tours that begin at 5:30 p.m. that cost a little extra, however the normal tours come free with the Silver Dollar City ticket.
RIDE THE DUCKS
Located on highway 76, Ride the Ducks is one of the Branson Missouri attractions that is fun for the whole family. This attraction features an amphibious vehicle that takes you on a tour through Branson. It shows you some of the most popular Branson Missouri attractions available, and then it takes you to a museum that you drive through showing you some vintage military vehicles. After this, the tour goes to Table Rock Lake, where you can ride around on the lake for a while.
The Titanic museum has many relics on display that has been recovered from the infamous Titanic. This museum also features many demonstrations related to the Titanic, including water that is as cold as the water was on that fateful night, a wall shaped like the iceberg that is kept as cold as the one that sank the Titanic. The museum also features a full scale reproduction of the Grand Staircase, and the bridge which is also kept as cold as it was on the night the Titanic sank.
Built on the shores of Lake Taneycomo in the older part of Branson in May of 2006, the landing has become a very popular Branson Missouri attraction. It features a boardwalk with lots of stores, and a musical fountain show that plays every hour from noon till closing. It is very easy to spend the entire day there without even realizing it.
Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede is a dinner theatre that features blue grass music, good food, and a show featuring 32 horses. The food consists of creamy vegetable soup, a rotisserie chicken, baked potato, a homemade biscuit, corn on the cob, an iced apple turnover for dessert, and a drink. While you are eating the show is being preformed live.
It can get really hot in the Ozarks during the summer which happens to be peak tourist season. You can stay cool at White Water which is a water park also located on highway 76. White Water features a raft ride, a wave pool, and some slides to name a few attractions. This is yet another of the many Branson Missouri attractions that you can easily spend all day at.
Stonehill Winery is a winery located in Hermann Missouri with a branch also located in Branson. They offer a tour of the winery and offer free samples of wine as well as a souvenir shop, and of course they have a huge selection of wines for sale. If you like wine and have some free time in between shows this is a great place to visit.
