When traveling to Las Vegas for the first time you may feel stressed out. There is so many Hotels in Las Vegas how do you choose the right one. There are so many attractions and buffets how do you find the right one? Should I rent a car or take a Taxi? Where can I gamble cheaply? I've heard parts of Las Vegas are dangerous, should I avoid certain areas? These are some of the questions first time travels to Las Vegas ask. One of the first questions that arise is Which Hotel and Casino should I stay at?

Finding a Hotel in Las Vegas can be very challenging. Most people automatically assume they will stay at A Las Vegas Strip Hotel. When deciding on a Hotel you want to consider many factors. Start by researching various Hotel and Casinos in Las Vegas. What do you want from a Hotel? Are you simply looking for a cheap room to pass out in after a night of heavy drinking or do you need a family friendly Hotel that is kid friendly?

The downtown Las Vegas Hotels are a fun place to stay because you have so much to do all on Fremont Street. You can drink and walk from casino to casino in the downtown area without ever having to worry about hiring a taxi or getting on a city bus. The downtown area is also a lot of fun for families as every night they have the fee light show. The downtown area is blocked off to cars. The downtown

Las Vegas area is pedestrian traffic only and the entire area is covered in a huge canopy that runs the full length of the downtown Las Vegas area. Every night the canopy has fee light shows that are very high tech. The best part of the light shows are the shows are free and there are multiple viewings a day.

If you do stay in downtown Las Vegas then you are eonly a short bus or taxi ride to the famous Las Vegas Strip. You can easily get to the Las Vegas Strip and experience some of the world famous Las Vegas Hotels and Casinos.

If you decide to stay at a Las Vegas Strip property you have a huge variety of Hotels and Casinos to choose from. Do you want a Hotel Casino such as Circus Circus that is family friendly? Would you like to stay at the New York, New York Hotel and Casino that has a large roller coaster? Would you like to go fancy and stay at an upper class Hotel and Casino such as the Bellagio?

Make a list of what you want from a Hotel when staying in Las Vegas and then research out which properties meet your criteria. Regardless of where you stay, the Strip or downtown area, I recommend finding a great deal on a hotel and stay there. Your money can be spent better elsewhere at the many Las Vegas Museums, attractions, and buffets.

Even if you stay at a cheaper property you can still experience the other Hotels and Casinos in Las Vegas. It is a lot of fun for first time visitors in Las Vegas to literally spend a day going from one Las Vegas Hotel and Casino to another. You can walk around the casino and Hotel Lobby. You can see which Hotels are friendlier then the others. You can see there attractions and the type of people that generally frequent the specific property. This is not only fun to "window shop" at all of the casinos but you can also see which properties interest you for the next time you visit Las Vegas.
