Xbox 360 Sale
So you're searching for an Xbox 360 for sale? Not willing to pay the $299 retail price or even $199 for the 4GB? That's OK. When you factor in the price of online access for an Xbox 360, over time, you'll spend more money than if you had grabbed a Playstation 3. But you're a dedicated Xbox 360 owner, and you probably aren't willing to switch sides yet. And if that's the case, you'll need to learn how to become an experienced shopper, so you'll know how to find the best deals on the system you want. But if you're not one of those yet, and you need some direction, I'm here to help. Once you've finally decided on buying the Xbox 360 Slim, it's easy to get excited, run to the nearest retail store and grab the first one you see. Experienced shoppers, though, do a bit of research and exercise patience before throwing cash around. It's true, the retail price of an Xbox 360 Slim is cheaper than that of a Playstation 3, but if you could buy an even cheaper Xbox 360, wouldn't you? And it's not going to be as simple as finding the same console $50 cheaper right next to the one at retail. It takes patience and active searching to be able to find that $50 discounted console. To get you started, here are a few places you might be able to find that cheaper console than the one at Walmart.
A different kind of game
If you're into competitive gaming, why not jump into competitive shopping? Finding a cheap Xbox 360 Slim for sale on auction sites can be entertaining as well as financially wise. If you've honed your gaming skills over the years, you probably know how to squeeze in a win with little to no time on the clock, or either that, you know how to develop strategies to get what you want. Penny auctions allow you to use those skills while rewarding you with a nice console at a good price. Smart shoppers know when to quit bidding on an auction site, yet can still have the patience and fortitude to spend long hours on an item they know they can win. And I'm not just talking about Ebay. There are auction sites that allow you to bid for factory sealed items, the bidding itself will cost about 60-75 cents a bid, but even if you think you're going to lose, you can stop bidding and pay the retail price on an item minus all the bids you've placed. So if you've already bid 50 dollars on a 100 dollar item but loss, you can still buy the item with an extra 50 dollars (your previous bids go toward the item) which basically means you're paying retail (the 100 dollar price). So not only is it more fun than just going to Walmart, there's a chance you can win a bid and get a brand new console at an amazing price.
Online retailers are the best way to get good deals on items. It's a lot easier to find a discounted item online than going from store to store in your city. Amazon is the most popular online retail store to buy new and used Xbox 360 Slim consoles. The new consoles won't be discounted, but you can find used consoles that are just as good as new, but with a lower price. You just simply go to the Used section of the Xbox 360 Slim page and there you'll see a list of stores that offer used products with varying condition ratings. If you're not sure about a company, just view the seller ratings that'll tell you what past customers thought of their service. They also provide feedback and reasons for their rating. You'll be able to view shipping rates and returns on items all located in one nice little area. Amazon is a trusted company and is often praised for excellent customer service. I'm pretty sure you've heard of them, but I feel it's important to bring them to mind as possible deal finders.
Dare to compare
Another good way to find low-priced Xbox 360 Slim systems is by browsing through comparison shopping sites like PriceGrabber.com. They'll show you a list of whatever search item you type in, say an Xbox 360 Slim, and there you'll be able to find the lowest price of that said item. You can also find customer reviews, product ratings, merchant ratings and even expert opinions on the item. Comparison shopping sites make it easy for you to buy like an experienced shopper without having you to browse the internet for hours. But since there are many comparison sites out there, if you wanted to be a shopping Guru, you could browse the different comparison sites in hopes of finding that once in a lifetime deal.
I'm all choked up
So there you have it. It's really not that hard to be a good shopper and find the best price. And if you're still unsure about which system to buy, there are tons of PS3 vs Xbox 360 info out there to be found. Either way, it's not that hard to get what you want if you spend a little time looking for it. Now go out there and make me proud!
