Although the Xbox 360 has remained a popular console and features many great games, not all games have been so great. Several titles produced for the Xbox360 have been utterly bad. Here are five of the worst of these games.
5. ShellShock 2: Blood Trails (2009)
Many considered the original title of ShellShock to be offensive. This sequel has little to do with the original title except that both are set during the Vietnam War. ShellShock 2: Blood Trails is a game that has something to do with that war and something to do with zombies. The game is not fun and features poor design and terrible AI. It was universally decried by critics.
Metacritic Score: 30/100
4. Jumper: Griffin's Story (2008)
There was once a bad movie named Jumper, which featured Star Wars alums Hayden Christensen and Samuel L. Jackson. That was one of the worst movies of 2008. The game that tied into the movie was equally bad and probably worse. Many concluded that the game was nothing more than a hack job, with developers just trying to create an add-on to the bad movie. The game was both incredibly easy and incredibly repetitive. Of all the negative comments, most focused on the game’s camera, which was called the worst in the history of video games.
Metacritic Score: 29/100
3. Deca Sports Freedom (2010)
Microsoft developed the Kinect to revolutionize gaming. Although there have not been many great games produced for the Kinect, few of these titles have been utterly bad. The exception to this statement is Deca Sports Freedom, which makes this list as one of the worst Xbox 360 games ever produced. The game was designed poorly and features some of the worst controls of any sports game ever produced, whether the gamer uses a controller, Kinect, or anything else.
Metacritic Score: 26/100
2. AMY (2012)
In AMY, gamers play the role of the caretaker of a young autistic girl named Amy. Few reviewers can find anything positive to say about the game, which has been described as boring, confusing, and frustrating. The graphics are so poor that it looks more like an original Xbox game than an Xbox 360 game, even though it was produced in 2012.
Metacritic Score: 25/100
1. Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust (2009)
The Leisure Suit Larry series never produced classic video games, but none of the titles in the series was as bad as Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust. This title features poor attempts at humor and many, many sexual references. The controls are bad, as are the graphics and gameplay in general.
Metacritic Score: 25/100
