The shot is normally given in the upper arm and contains the flu viruses contained in egg cultures that are noninfectious. It is highly recommended that you get your flu shot every flu season to prevent deadly diseases like influenza.
Do not skip out on your flu shot during flu season. Make sure that your whole family gets the flu shot each season so that they are all safe. It is very important to take care of your health during flu season so that you do not become ill. Many people have died from diseases that could have been prevented by simply getting a flu shot every flu season but they did not feel that it was necessary. Infants need the flu shot each flu season as well, they are also highly likely to die from influenza or other diseases that could have been prevented by getting their flu shot.
