Who is Chip Foose?

Chip Foose is famous for his reality car show called Overhaulin’.  On Overhaulin’ Chip Foose and his team get their hands on an unsuspecting victim’s car and turn it into a completely redesigned show car.  Foose starts out with a hand drawn concept of the vehicle he is planning on building and then builds the concept off of his initial artwork.  Foose also has his own brand of wheel manufactured by MHT Wheels.  Within his Foose Wheels line, there are two separate varieties of wheels you can buy; Foose Originals, and Foose Classics.  Foose Originals are designed with a more modern theme in mind while the Classics are great for your vintage rides.

History of the Foose Hemisfear

In 1990 when Foose was spending time at the Art Center he designed what is now known as the Hemisfear.   The Hemisfear is the ultimate hand made limited production hot rod.  In November 2006 the Hemisfear (also known as the Foose Coupe) was finally revealed at the SEMA trade show.  The first production Hemisfear(foose coupe) was sold at a car auction in Palm Beach, Florida in March 2007 for $330,000 to car collector Roger Burgess.  Each Hemisfear comes with a custom paint job as well as a custom engine personally chosen by the purchaser in conjunction with suggestions from Chip Foose himself.
