Foot Detox

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 1 | |

This article is about the basic theory of foot detox. The basic premise behind foot detox is that your toxins are extracted through the bottom of your foot. There are two main products that are available on the market. The first product is the detox foot pad. This is like a big sticky plaster. You attach it to the soles of your feet before you go to bed at night. When you wake up in the morning the foot detox pad will have extracted a lot of the toxins from your feet and your body.

Number two is the foot detox spa. The pores in the foot are also the exit points for the toxins in this method. The base of the unit is fitted with a small electrode. You put water into the bath and put your feet inside the water. There are positive ions which are passed through the water by the electrodes. The positive ions attract negative ions from the toxins and draw them out through the soles of your feet.

There is a very physical proof that the products are working. Discoloration is the way that this is shown. There will be major changes in the color of the water that has been used in the foot detox spa and the underside of the foot detox patch.

The sceptics of the system believe that this discoloration is created by a product inside the patch and inside the foot detox bath and not by the toxins themselves. Advocates of the detox foot patch and the ionic detox foot bath contradict this.

Those who would oppose many of the alternative medicine treatments have a particular opposition to the methods used in the foot detox. Both sides of the argument have undertaken to scientifically test the theories of foot detox. They have also scientifically tested both of the products outlined above. The supporters and the opponents each have their own particular results. Both sides are showing different results. There is no surprise in this. The only way to be sure about one of these products is to actually try them yourself.

Some people actually give these products huge praise when it comes to the healing properties. Now I don't know whether this is due to the fact that everyone is different, or if there is psychosomatic results at play here. But I would say I am in between both sets of opinions here. I'm not sure about the exact scientific proof that this works, but I would never underestimate the power of mind over matter. And if a person believes that something is going to work then they are 50% of the way towards having the result that they want.
