Four Healthy Drinks

Healthy, easy to make drinks

We all know already that two liters of water a day are essential for better health, but what can you do if you cannot drink so much water? Prepare yourself healthy drinks, which, besides the hydration, and various other roles for you – promote immunity, detoxify the body and give you an extra dose of energy. Try them!

1. Herbal or Dried Fruits Teas

Since it’s still a little cold (depending on where you live), you can enjoy warm teas from herbs or dried fruit, honey, or even add a little milk, if you want to experience English tastes. Herbal teas have different properties, so try chamomile tea to relieve digestive problems, linden to combat insomnia, rattle against stress, cranberry to relieve urinary infections or lemon balm against depression and anxiety.

Green and black teas are part of a separate category, as they are high in antioxidants and can replace the coffee in the morning, so it will give you energy. Ideally, drink unsweetened green tea without other additives in order to take full advantage of the intense flavor and antioxidant properties. Green tea helps increase metabolism rate, being shown in weight-loss diets. We recommend going in pharmacies, where you can find a wide range of teas and herbal remedies!

Almond Milk

2. Almond milk with detoxifying role

The author of the book "Super Cleanse" Adina Niemerow, is a specialist in detoxifying the body and modern nutrition, working with Hollywood actors, models and billionaires in the Top 500. She recommend each person to purify their body without even having to resort to extreme measures, through the solutions at hand and even tasty. One of her recommendations is her own almond milk recipe:

Ingredients:

- One cup of raw almonds

- 4 cups of water or spring water

- A teaspoon of flaxseed oil

- A pinch of sea salt

Cooking: Tender the almonds for 24 hours in an airtight container, with water in a cool, dark place. Mix in a blender the tender almonds and water until you get a creamy texture – if you want it to be more liquid, add more water. Strain the mixture and squeeze thoroughly in a bowl, until the ingredients are dry. Add flaxseed oil and a pinch of sea salt over the almond milk in the bowl, mixing them well in the blender. Depending on your preference, you can flavor the almond milk with vanilla or cinnamon.
