Palmdale Jazz and Wine Festival

If the business trip or family vacation occurs during summer, spend a warm and late afternoon listening to world-class and even award winning jazz musicians and bands all while tasting excellent wines and gourmet treats during the Palmdale Jazz and Wine Festival. The festival takes place every year in September at the Palmdale Amphitheater at Marie Kerr Park. This is a great event to visit with friends, family and business colleagues.

Palmdale Fall Festival

Start the fall season right by visiting the Palmdale Fall Festival, which usually attracts more than 50,000 people. The two-day event features community art exhibits, arts and crafts vendors, live musical entertainment, locally grown produce and delicious food stands.

Antelope Valley Fair and Alfalfa Festival

Come and visit Palmdale hotels in August, and bring the family out to the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds for the annual fair. For 11 days, running from late August through Labor Day, the fair comes into town and brings events and entertainment, such as musical concerts, arts and crafts exhibits, motor events, bull riding, livestock auctions, carnival rides and food, entertainment and much more. Tickets are inexpensive and the fair is a great way to find fun for the whole family.

California Poppy Festival

Nature lovers and outdoors men and women enjoy the two-day California Poppy Festival held in Lancaster City Park. The event includes tours, live musical entertainment, carnival games and rides, arts and crafts and environmental displays. Visit the neighboring AV California Poppy Reserve to see 1,700 acres of the state flower, which is plentiful each during the months of March through April.

Christmas Parade in Palmdale, CA

Spend the holiday season in the desert and stop by the annual Christmas parade held each year on the 2nd Saturday in December. The parade starts off the holiday season right with illuminated floats, marching bands playing music in the streets and gift ideas for friends and family, along with a visit from Santa Claus.
