Funny Quotes About Life

By | 3 Comments | Rating: 1 | |

Isn't life funny sometimes, even in the darkest of situations, all it takes is for one person to crack a small joke and the atmosphere can be completely changed in an instant. That's what I love about funny quotes about life, especially when they have been stolen from some of the great comedians and talents of the world has ever seen.

How boring would best man speech be without some humor. How will we get to all the speeches of any wedding without a joke or two, carefully chosen just for the occasion. Can you imagine the father of the bride, and the groom, and then the best man all standing up and making no attempt at humor. It makes you squirm in your chair to think about it. But with another joke told here and there about the groom's sexual prowess, or the misdemeanors of the best man, etc. etc. the whole speech can grow into something very memorable.

Indeed what would life be like without comedy. One of my favorite comedians, Billy Connolly, has a fantastic way of telling stories, he is the master of funny quotes about life. He will make it seem like everything is just flowing out of him very naturally. And I would presume that most of it is just that, flowing from his brain to his mouth and natural rhythm. He will tell you a story about his childhood that if told by anyone else would not seem remotely humorous, but because of his inimitable humor, he is able to not only make you laugh but make you feel that you know exactly what he's talking about.

There are too many comedians to mention and far too many quotations even to try and choose from them. But if you are looking for funny quotes about life for a speech that you are going to do or just for your general comedic armory you been you should have no problem looking up sites on the Internet that will provide you with material from the best comedians and indeed the best minds. And you will find that most of the quotations do not date, in fact they age quite well, the jokes told by Groucho Marx 80 or 90 years ago can still seem as fresh today.
