GE Food Processors Review: Which is the Best?

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 0 0

GE Food processors are some of the best processors on the market. They are an asset to any kitchen with their wide variety of uses. They can not only be used to slice and dice fruits and vegetables, but they can also be used to make bread dough, cookie dough, smoothies, and almost anything else you can imagine. Want to slice up potatoes for hash browns?

The GE food processor can do that. Considering making your own baby food because you don't want to pay the store prices, then you need a GE food processor. They are a must have kitchen product and make preparing food faster and easier than ever before.

There are several types of GE food processors on the market. The GE 14 cup digital food processor (model 169203) has a sleek design to fit into most kitchen decors. Its black appliance with blue lights looks great on the kitchen counter. It is super fast but at the same time very quiet.

The bottom has suction feet so it doesn't slide of the counter surface and the cord actually stores nicely out of the way when not in use. This GE food processor also boasts a wide mouth and large cup for jobs large and small. It also is reasonably priced and comes with a 2 year warrantee.

Another product is the 11-Cup GE Food Processor (model #169141). This one is not up to par with its 14 cup counterpart. It has a pulse mode which is great when cutting fruits and vegetables, but it really only has one speed which makes it a little inefficient in the kitchen.

It does have a wide mouth, which makes adding ingredients easy, but some individuals have had some problems snapping on the lid. This of course diminishes the time and ease of using a food processor in the first place.

A smaller product is the 9 cup GE Food Processor (model # 106622F). It's a basic food processor without all the bells and whistles of more expensive brands. It's not nearly as quiet as most other models and chops unevenly.

Occasionally the food on the bottom will liquefy and the food on top will not puree. Not a great product if you are trying to make salsa. It does however have four speeds which is useful for a variety of recipes.

A GE food processor is a great addition to any kitchen. It fits on almost any countertop and makes preparing meals quick and easily. With a variety of models to choose from it should be easy to find one that fits your needs.
