Gambling In The Caribbean

The Caribbean is not only attractive to tourists who love sun, sea and beautiful beaches, but the area is also very attractive to gamblers. So, if you want to add high-stakes excitement to your tropical travel, then you should book a ticket to one of the islands in the Caribbean that are famous for gambling.

In the Caribbean, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas and Aruba are the most popular destinations for gamblers. The minimum age for gambling in these countries is 18 years. Unlike Las Vegas, not all casinos in the countries in the Caribbean are opened 24 hours a day, but for professional and amateur gamblers there is still more than enough time to play.

The Bahamas

The Bahamas are also known as the gambling center of the Caribbean. Foreigners are very welcome to visit the country and gamble in one of many casinos, but it is illegal for citizens of the Bahamas to gamble. Dominican Republic

Most casinos in the Dominican Republic are opened from 16:00 until 06:00.

Puerto Rico

Some people call the Puerto Rico casino resorts unique because of fantastic beach side settings. Many gamblers consider Puerto Rico to be one the most enjoyable destinations in the Caribbean. Most casinos offer great food and drinks and good entertainment.

Famous casinos in Puerto Rico are El San Juan Hotel & Casino, Inter-Continental San Juan Resort & Casino - Isle Verde Puerto Rico, Embassy Suites Dorado Del Mar Beach and The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan Hotel, Spa & Casino. Most casinos are open until 04:00.

Aruba

Caribbean Stud Poker was invinted on the island of Aruba. Most casinos in Aruba are located in hotels along Palm Beach and are open from 11:00 until 01:00, but some casinos, like the Crystal Casino are open 24/7. The two most famous casino's on the island are the Stellaris Casino at the Aruba Marriott, and the previously mentioned Crystal Casino at the Renaissance Aruba Resort.
