Garden Arch
The word garden originates from the old German term "gart" which means 'enclosure.' It's history extends as far back as at least 4,000 years of human civilization. The earliest physical evidence of ornamental horticulture and landscape was in the 1500s BC where "gardens" then were surrounded by symmetrical rows of acacias and palms. Gardening has of course evolved since then and the 20th century saw the influence of modern gardening.
