Garden Carts Can Take A Big Load Off

One of the things that most any gardener will experience at some point is back pain. Now, this could be the result of many things and only your chiropractor can help you for sure, but think of the money you could save on physical therapy if you just had a proper tool that could help you haul all the heavy stuff. Well, that tool is here and it is called a garden cart.

Garden carts are really not that innovative as they are efficient. They are basically like a wheelbarrow with some special features. One thing that separates them from a wheelbarrow is the way they are constructed. Wheelbarrows are made to lift very heavy loads, so they need to be much more durable and engineered differently. Of course, they can be used to carry lighter objects and loads, but they still have the capacity to go heavier.

A garden cart is made to carry bags of potting soil, your garden tools, some extra pots, etc. You get the idea. It is meant to be used much in the same way that you might use a small carrying basket at the grocery store instead of a larger cart with the wheels. These utility carts are still quite a bit larger than those baskets, but the analogy still fits.

Most of these carts are made of heavy duty plastics that can take a lot of abuse without being damaged. This makes them fairly lightweight yet rugged. The handles sometimes fold down to be out of the way when unloading or storing. Some of these carts have four wheels, but it is common to find them with two wheels and a handle.

You can purchase one of these handy garden utility carts for anywhere between $50 - 150 USD. The differences in pricing is due to various features and also brands. Like all products, some of the cost differences relate to the location you purchase the cart from as well. If you do a lot of gardening or know someone who does, investing in one of these garden carts would be a great idea or gift.
