If your Google Account is disabled, you will not be able to use any of Google products like You Tube, Gmail, Google Adsense, etc. linked with that particular account. I had recently faced a similar situation. I was not able to access Gmail and Google Adsense, among others. Naturally, this was quite frustrating for me. Google had disabled my account for violation of privacy policies or Terms of Services (TOS).

Google generally doesn’t provide any specific reason for disabling an account. I also didn’t get any notice from them. I still don’t know what wrong I had committed. To add to the woes, Google offers really outrageous customer support. The automatic reply sent by them is obviously not sufficient in all cases.

Procedure to get your disabled Google account back

First of all, Google disabled some account temporarily. In majority of cases, when an account is compromised for some security reasons, Google takes this action. You are not required to over react in this type of situation. All you need to do is to follow their instructions. After due verification, your account will be restored within a stipulated time.

If you are redirected from sign-in page to a page showing message that your Google account is disabled (like the above screenshot), then getting your account back may be little bit problematic. There is no guarantee that you are going to get back your account. The first step should obviously be to contact them. You are required to write a message that you have already gone through all Terms and Services along with Privacy Policies. And, you are going to follow all of these terms strictly. You need to also ask them the specific reason behind Google’s decision to disable your account. Now, you need to wait for 48 hours. If you don’t get any response (in almost cases, users don’t get any response), you are required to again resubmit the form.

However, here is the trick which helped me to get back my Google account back. I visited Gmail Help Forum. I started a new thread asking for help. I wrote the predicament I was going through. I mentioned only Gmail there, not Adsense. I wrote that because of this action I am losing some vital documents kept in Gmail account. After that, I persuaded a Top Contributor to ping my thread. Fortunately, he pinged my thread and I got my account restored within 48 hours.

However, please be aware that if you have been indulged in some serious violations of any Terms of Services of Google, your account will not be restored. If you are indulged in Click Fraud with your Google Adsense, rest assured your account will not be restored.
