Many local stores carry a wide variety of grills, including the very handy portable charcoal bbq. This is great option for many people that like to go camping or want to take their barbecue party to the beach scene. Usually charcoal bbq grills range in price from $20 to a couple of hundred dollars. The best time to purchase a bbq charcoal grill is at the end of the summer. The retailers will discount grills to sell them before fall. Even if the retailers don't drop their prices themselves, be sure to do a fair bit of haggling. Maintenance of a charcoal grill is simple. When the grill has cooled, you simply take the grill grates out of the grill and lay them flat on some cardboard or newspaper. Spray them generously with oven cleaner and let them set for a few hours. Then you scoop out the bits of charcoal and ash from the inside of the grill. Use a hose to flush out any remaining particles. You can use a thick towel to wipe out the inside but it is not necessary. Wipe the outside of the grill with damp rag or sponge. When the grill grates are ready to clean simply scrub them with a wire brush or mesh sponge. Rinse the grates completely. Let them dry very well before installing them back into the grill.
