Get Rid Of Eye Wrinkles

By | 1 Comments | Rating: 1 | |

No one ever wants to hear that they have crow's feet, but at some point in our lives, we will all notice fine lines and wrinkles developing around our eyes. As our bodies age, we lose the collagen and elasticity in our skin, which causes wrinkles. There are plenty of items on the market to get rid of eye wrinkles; however, it all depends on how quickly you would like your wrinkles to disappear.

With hundreds of anti-wrinkle eye creams on the market today, it is important to know what ingredients to look for. Alpha, beta, and poly hydroxy acids will slough away dead skin, thus revealing fresher looking skin below. Vitamin A has the same sort of effect on skin. Any eye cream containing amino acids will help in the production of collagen growth. Antioxidants are an important ingredient in eye cream, because they nourish the skin. If waiting is the hardest part for you and price is not an issue, then you may consider cosmetic procedures to help get rid of your eye wrinkles.

Botox injections work like magic for eye wrinkles. In just one wrinkle treatment, you can be looking at least ten years younger. Botox is injected directly into the muscle, which relaxes that muscle. By relaxing the muscle, your eye wrinkles diminish. The injection's results can last up to six months, making it one of the most inexpensive items on the market to get rid of unsightly eye wrinkles.

Laser resurfacing is another option for treating unsightly eye wrinkles. You can use fractional laser resurfacing to get rid of sun-damaged wrinkled skin around the eye area. What once took a few weeks to recover from now only takes about one week. Erbium lasers can used as well to get rid of eye wrinkles. The recovery is quick; however, the four week wait between the four treatments is enough to turn many away from the procedure if they are looking for instantaneous results.

Just remember, that the best way to avoid crow's feet is to prevent them. Try eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, drinking plenty of water, and avoiding the sun at all costs. Sunglasses with UVA and UVB that hug the eye area are a good idea to avoiding the Sun's damaging rays. It's always easier to prevent the wrinkles in the first place than to get rid of the eye wrinkles.
