Get Rid Of Hemorrhoids

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |
Hemorrhoids commonly are caused by constipation, diarrhea, pregnancy, childbirth, sitting for too long, obesity, and lifting heavy. When there is a strain on the veins inside the lower rectum or anus, the veins can become swollen and form hemorrhoids. Quite often, internal hemorrhoids are misdiagnosed by the sufferer as external hemorrhoids. This is because internal hemorrhoids can often worsen and swell to a point where they protrude from the anus. When people see or feel this protrusion, they assume their hemorrhoid is external because of the visibility. You will not always need to see a doctor about your hemorrhoids, there are many options available to help get rid of your hemorrhoids at home. The many over-the-counter treatments that are available for you alleviate the pain and itching associated with hemorrhoids, they will not entirely get rid of them. Only a surgical procedure can completely remove a hemorrhoid. Over-the-counter treatments include hemorrhoidal creams, suppositories, and witch hazel soaked pads. Soaking in a warm bath three times a day for 10-15 minutes can also ease the discomfort. If you find that your hemorrhoids feel worse, end the warm bath soak immediately. For some people, the heat aggravates the hemorrhoid instead of soothing it. Dietary changes can also help to get rid of hemorroids more permanently.

By changing your lifestyle to include more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, 6-8 glasses of water a day, and getting plenty of exercise, you can help your body regulate your digestive system, so it functions efficiently and properly. This means no constipation or strain to produce stool, thus no excess pressure on the veins in your rectal and anal areas. To get rid of your hemorroids, this is a great recommendation. Fiber supplements and stool softeners can also help to rid of the nasty condition. Soft stool ensures less aggravation on the hemorrhoid, thus leading to the hemorrhoid feeling better and going away. The problem with these treatments is that there is always the possibility of a recurrence. Even surgical methods cannot guarantee you will never suffer from hemorrhoids again. For many, hemorrhoids are a chronic condition, and over time, the number and size of the hemorrhoids increases. When hemorrhoidal symptoms do not improve with these at-home treatments, or if your hemorrhoid is thrombosed and very painful, you will need to see your doctor to decide what is the best procedure or treatment for getting rid of your hemorrhoid. The various types of procedures done to get rid of hemorroids include infrared coagulation, stapled hemorrhoidectomy, laser surgery for hemorrhoids, conventional hemorrhoidectomy, and different types of banding procedures. Often, you will need more than one procedure or two procedures combined to fully eliminate your hemorrhoids. As with any other treatments, there is always a possibility of recurrence - it is the nature of the beast.
