Getting Backpack Purses

By | Jul 9, 2010 | 2 Comments | Rating: 0

Oh, to be hands-free! Ladies, wouldn't you just love to be hands-free when you are at the department store or walking in the mall? Having to constantly keep up with that purse or handbag, over your shoulder or in your hands, can be very frustrating at times. Sometimes, you feel like you are tied to that purse because you have everything in it but the kitchen sink. Well, backpack purses are the way to go! They can be convenient and still hold all the necessary items you feel you just have to have with you.

Many of these purses have multiple compartments and pockets to hold all your credit cards, wallet, necessary paperwork, gum, medicine, and the all important cell phone or ipod. They also usually have adjustable straps and some have magnetic snap openings. They come in all styles and colors as well as different kinds of material such as various types of leather such as lambskin, cowhide, or genuine leather. Some backpacks are convertible as they can be transformed from a handbag into a full backpack, so you can not only use it as a purse when shopping, but also for hiking or when going to an amusement park, etc. to keep all your necessary items in that you need to have with you. Backpacks called slings are another form of purse that you can use as a backpack or a purse over your head and shoulder.

When shopping for backpack purses, you can spend anywhere from ten to twenty dollars to a couple of hundred dollars for them. It depends on whether you want quality (a purse that will last a good long while) or one that will last you until you decide you need or want a change. Sometimes, ladies just want to change purses, maybe to match a particular outfit or for a special occasion. Different occasions may require different purses, right?

Shopping online can be a convenient way to go but be careful that you get what you expect. Be sure to read customer reviews on the sites that you shop at. Sometimes, the ones that say, for example, genuine leather suit bag, can end up looking like just plain vinyl when you receive it or may have some other defects to them. If you are one to go for the quantity rather than quality, you may want to just purchase your bags at department stores like Target or Wal-Mart.

lol...this is something I may recommend to my wife. She does, in fact, have just about everything but the kitchen sink in her purse.
